A Message from the Program Leaders
Greetings Parents,
Thank you for taking a minute to look at this travel opportunity for your son or daughter. For many of you the mere thought of sending your child off with strangers to a destination more than a few miles away much less hundreds of miles away is crazy. But before you say "No Way" my wife and I ask you to please take a few minutes to look over this year's program, The Travel company we use, and the past trips we have already done. My wife and I are both certified NYS teachers who are currently teaching in the Binghamton City School District. I also have extensive experience in the BSA earning Eagle and serving as a Scout Master for a troop for 8 years planning all outings and troop functions. In this time I planned and led three separate High Adventure treks into the Sangre De Christo Range in NM. (Part of the Rocky Mountains) for fourteen days we hiked and camped in God's Country with the nearest connection to the outside world a couple of days hike away. Although this year's trip is nothing of that magnitude I feel that you should know that I take safety and accountability very seriously. I was also trained as an Emergency Medical Technician in 1997 and have volunteered for several ambulance squads. I am currently still active with a Vol. Fire-Rescue Company. I know that Trust is the hardest thing to have in this day hence the importance of a bit of my background. If you need more about our backgrounds please feel free to e-mail us and we can talk or arrange a meeting time to meet face to face before making your final choice. We can also provide a list of character references if you feel it is necessary. Again we both thank you for taking your time to look into our travel program. Watching the kids discover science in its natural environment and watching the friendships they make along the way is one of the most rewarding feelings that we are so very happy to offer.

Traveling with classmates, new faces, and lifelong memories are only part of the fun awaiting us on this program. We will investigate ecology, conservation methods, ecosystems, and wildlife biology through personal, hands-on, real life encounters. Our program will include extraordinary activities at amazing locations: swimming with dolphins and kayaking in the Florida Keys, exploring the Everglades- the only ecosystem of its kind in the world, and a snorkeling expedition in the largest coral reef in the United States, off the coast of the Florida Keys.

Thank you very much Jeff and Lisa for bringing Ashley home safe to us! Both of your personalities with the kids are fantastic especially with all the changes of schedule and being quick on your feet.
